Unless you are very good at soldering, you will have to force the end cap out of the solenoid body, carefully unwind some of the core, and splice it back together.

uhhhh i'm not that good at soldering... ruler_mark from pbn said he can fix it no problems, so i figured i would try myself but i guess i'll just have him do it then

:(... and mtx hasnt got back to me since i wrote them 2 weeks ago, i might have to do it this way, do you also have the new replacement seals (front poppit seal i think) that they had issues on the 1st run of mq2's because i need that also.. i think i'll send it in your way van, thanks..
o yea and i liked that vid up on youtube

One thing you can try is you electrical conductive glue to fix that. Put the glue on, let it set and dry for at least 24hrs before using. Its an alternative to soldering, but have to remember, you have to be very careful with it afters. After you use the glue, test if it works and use some liquid electrical tape.
