I just picked up a brand new velocity hopper in a trade. I plan on using it on my E-Orry project. I have a zero rise feedneck. When I put the hopper in the neck there is about a half inch between the bottom of the hopper, and the top of the feed. This leaves the profile of my marker just too tall. Can I take out this half inch. Will it mess with the feed, or the eyes in the hopper. Any input is appreciated.

Nope, just chop it.
