Just saw this on that place that shall not be named:

"Good afternoon guys-
I just wanted to let everyone know we are releasing the new design 2k Standard pump kits.
Here are 2 pictures of it.

The reason for the change is so many people end up scratching the hex nut during the installation process. So what the guys have done is made the large guide rod able to screw right into the front of your body, there is 3/16 allen hole in the front of the large guide rod for easy installation. Over all it will look cleaner and be more user friendly. At this time we only offer the new design for the 2k pump kits.
If you have any questions please feel free to drop me a line or call us directly. Thank you and have a great day!

~Mel @ CCM"

-EDIT- That's odd. It looks like the photobucket account that the pics were hosted on got deleted or something. Sorry about that http://customcockers.com/forum/images/smilies/confused.gif
-EDIT- Found the original post on mccarter, hopefully these pics don't disappear too...

So they made it like a 10 year old LPC....
Nice fix, but nothing ground breaking.

But if they didn't state it, little Johny SOB would buy a kit, freak out because he doesn't know whats going on, then run around the internet telling people stuff like "I got a fake pump kit," or "how do I install it." BAN

what is wrong with the wwa version that has a hole through it?? stick an allen wrench (or some other rod) through it for leverage, and twist. that is the most simple method, and if it becomes loose you can tighten it back up without taking the marker apart because the hole is between the pump handle and front block.

and the old wgp version had to flat sides on the tip of the shaft, only issue with that was some fools twisted too much and created burrs on the tip making the pump action scratchy.
Nothing is idiot proof, lol.

The cross-drilled holes in the WWA kit make it harder to use the guide as a volumizer ;)

you love me, don't you drg?? :D
I realize that, and expected someone to say that.. no, expected YOU to say that :p but volumizers are over rated and I bet those are not drilled out anyway. I had some ccm ones that were for their newer model pumps that im pretty sure were not drilled out, which makes me think these wouldn't be. but home brew drilling them out is possible.
