    Question Help me ID this barrel, please

    By any chance, does anyone know the manufacture of this barrel:





    Its 14", its got A/C threads, and spiral porting.

    Yeah, sorry about the pics, they were taken with a cell phone. I agree that the front looks like an AA, but the back is not like any AA I've ever seen. Even the old ones. Unless this predates even the old school AA's. In which case it's odd that it would have Cocker threads.

    Looks like one off a post-Dye Buzzard. Here's an old one of mine. These ones didn't take inserts, so they're a bit less desirable. Easiest way to confirm is if the back of the barrel is beveled.

    Yeah, absolutely. I never expected it to be something special or even sought-after. But I have been using it as a loaner barrel for the past 3 years and frankly, it shoots as good as any high end barrel. It would be nice to know what the heck it actually is.
