It's been a long week but I managed to find a little time to tinker tonight. First I had to make a thread boring bar for my lathe so I could cut the 15/16"-20 UNEF autococker threads into this body. Once the threading bar was complete, I had to spend some time chucking up and then dialing in the body on my engine lathe. In case you missed it, I decided to single point cut the threads for the barrel instead of spending money on a tap that I will only ever use once.

Here's some photos of the process along with some video. First the thread boring bar that I made followed by a photo of my Freak barrel screwed into the finished thread while it was still chucked up on my lathe. Lastly is a photo of the current project assembled and in it's current state. At the tail end I have posted some video of the setup and secondly of the threads being cut... I'm beat and off to bed!

    Cheers!

The Freak barrel (and all my others) fit nicely...

Still need a few pieces but I'm still making progress. Slow progress but progress none-the-less...
